Creative mela is the day where many types of arts are celebrated. Students, explore and learn about different forms of artworks. My goal was to teach them something new and interesting artworks like golf ball painting and marble paper painting. Creative mela allows the students to explore and know their area of interest.

Creative mela offered me to develop my teaching skills and helped me know the importance of working in a group/ working with collaboration.  Creative did allow me to know my strengths and weaknesses, and after knowing them I felt that now I have a clearer idea of where I need to work and where I am good. It taught me that it is important to know your weakness and strength because it helps you not to be held back and get a good understanding of yourself.

I did not face as such any challenges, but I think we had a very small amount of time for each group, because of which we had to rush a lot and could not make the session very well. This explains me to work on my time management skills.

Commitment was very important in this case, as a proper organization was required, we had to take care that we had each resource to carry out the task, we had the proper quantity of them and the most important that we planned an activity which could be found interesting by the students.

To conclude, it was great being a volunteer in creative mela as it helped me know my area of interests and explore some new forms of art.
