Yoga was something new to me when I joined but later I realized it was one of the best decisions I took. It helped me in all the ways physically, spiritually, and mentally. I joined yoga class 8 months back and am still continuing even during this pandemic situation but doing it online. 

Learning outcomes achieved:

LO 1  Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth.

I attend yoga class 5 days a week which includes Physical exercise  meditation and stretching. At first it was very boring to me and faced challenges but later I felt very comfortable doing it as I never stopped and kept on doing it. At times due to lots of submission i wanted to bunk but i pushed myself and stayed committed.   

LO 2 : Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

Managing time was the most challenging time as it was just after my school. Sometimes I reach later home from the bus stop and get late for Yoga class. Also it was very tiring to attend yoga class right after school hours but I managed myself.

LO 4: Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience 

On a daily basis for 8 months, I dedicated myself to practising yoga for an hour. I made it a part of my schedule and throughout it I was committed to complete the task. Even during the pandemic situation I did not stop and continued doing it with online classes. I was always inclined towards physical activities hence I showed perseverance to achieve whatever commitments I made towards myself and to make my lifestyle healthier.

LO 6: Engagement with issues of global significance this activity aligns with the sustainable goal of “

This activity aligns with the sustainable goal of “good health and well-being”. It helped me realize how good health and balance of physical mental and spiritual well-being are globally significant. I prepared myself to engage in this activity because I understand that it is difficult to maintain good health and well-being in such a world where every day is a new challenge for different people in different ways. My awareness of the issue and its importance lead me to take up the practice of yoga for a short period of time.

To conclude, enrolling myself in yoga was one of the best decisions I made. I felt so proud of the person I became with practicing it. Also made me realize how important it is to stay healthy in all ways be it physically, spiritually, and mentally. I have explored by staying committed to it and showing gratitude.
