The farewell was a student-led event organized in the school itself. I was part of the decoration team. I am not really good at art or creativity but I took as a challenge for me to be a part of the decoration team and help them plan the best farewell.

LO-2 Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.

The CAS experience helped me a lot to learn and develop new skills in art and decorating the room and makings new things. the skill which I developed during the farewell decor was taking up responsibilities and accepting a new challenge and overcome difficulties.

LO -3 Initiate and plan a CAS experience.

Planning and Initiating a CAS experience was a challenge for me because taking farewell decor as a CAS experience was challenging and the difficult part was to convince the organizer of the farewell to allow me in the decor team as I was not having any sills or any experience in the decorating things.

LO-4 Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences.

Coming early for making the decorations was a challenge for me as I am not used to waking up early and after that coming early, making decorations and then attending classes was very difficult and tiring for me.

LO -5 Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

Working with others has consistently been simple for me since I generally incorporate my thoughts with my other’s thoughts and it was anything but difficult to do as such in this action as well. It is essential to fill in as a group to stay away from debates and differences. Cooperation helped us in accomplishing our work quicker and directly before time.

LO-6 Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance

The global issue that we were confronting was not to throw waste everywhere to a great extent and utilize biodegradable material however much as could be expected. We utilized the least measure of plastic as possible to threw them in proper places with dustbins so it doesn’t harm our environment.

LO-7 Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions

I also wished sometimes to skip the early in for the farewell decorations and make excuses for now well, however, I thought it is very irresponsible for me that making such choices and not accepting the challenge which I took and develop skills. I realized that if I wanted to develop the skills for the event then I should do it with complete integrity and 100% hard work.
