Our Team and I practice football twice a week and sometimes four times if we decide to go and play on a turf outside school. We practice with a coach which helps us to develop our skills and master the positions we play. The team plays with only one goal which is to play for the school, city and the state and get selected to tournaments where the chances of becoming better increases.Â
LO1: Identify your own strengths and develop areas for growth.Â
- I have been playing football for the past 6 years and I have developed a lot of skills and learnt a lot of new things. While playing football I have developed the sportsman spirit that every individual playing must-have. Playing a fair game is a learning which I have developed over these years.Â
LO4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences.
- We play for an hour twice a week and go to tournaments. Which requires a lot of commitment and perseverance. I have a lot of studies to do and balancing playing with studies is a really tough combination. Balancing that requires a lot of determination and thus, commitment and perseverance are showcased while playing football.Â
LO5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.Â
- Football has taught me how to work collaboratively with friends and with other people who we don’t really know about. This has helped me all the group works which school carries out or I voluntarily go to some workshop where we have to work. Moreover, football has taught me to be confident and to be strong in any situation.Â
