Art is something that I always enjoy doing. I joined art classes for 3 months; twice a week. My drawing skills have significantly improved since I joined the class. We learned the basics of sketching and drawing.

Learning outcomes achieved :

L01:  Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth.

 I realized that my thinking skills are pretty strong. I can make many compositions just looking around and practised working on them. However, I wasn’t great at painting but i practised for that to make it improve and this is how I overcame the weakness by practicing daily. Over the past 3 months, I could make basic sketches pretty good .

LO 2 : Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

Earlier I wasn’t able to manage my time. But later i changed them into weekend slots so even during weekend sometimes due some or the other reason i missed many classes but at the end i use to clear my doubts and work more on the classes which i missed and schedule my timetable accordingly form next, this makes me feel proud of myself as now due to proper time management I have less burden on the last moment. Skills like time management can be useful in our entire lives as it will allow us to put first things first and be particular while doing any kind of job. 

LO 4: Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience 

I was pretty much committed to my CAS experience of Art class because I always made sure I completed all the given task, homeworks at time when assigned. I was always punctual to class even at times. I was too lazy to wake up early in the weekend but I pushed myself and tried not to miss any class because of laziness.  

Learners profile catered :knowledgeable, thinkers, balanced and reflective. 

This entire experience has taught me a lot of things and I am overwhelmed to have learned new skills which will be very helpful for even my Visual Art subject in school. I have also learnt that time management is very important
