Jogging

Because of academics, I spend a lot of time indoors without much physical activity. So, to keep me healthy and fit and to increase my stamina, I started jogging every alternate morning. I made this decision because I knew that as a result, I would be able to start my day early feeling fresh. Also, the morning sun is good for health and helps the human body produce vitamin D.

LO1- Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth:

I identified that I was committed to increasing my stamina and staying fit as I had no problem waking early either on a school day or on a holiday. However, I wasn’t able to jog for long distances at first. But gradually, I was able to increase the distances that I could jog without taking a break.

LO3- Initiate and plan a CAS experience:

At first, it was difficult to plan the days that I should jog because if I had free slots or a PS class on the same day, I would be really tired and would not be able to follow my timetable for the rest of the day. However, as few days passed, I was able to plan everything quite well.

LO4- Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience:

There were a few days in which I wanted to skip it and just sleep a little longer, however I knew that this activity was for my benefit and showed commitment towards this CAS experience.
