Hi, I’m Mallika Dawer and I’m in Grade 12, doing the IB Diploma Programme. I’m interested in filmmaking and I’m fortunate enough to be able to study the subject at school. 

I’d love to make a career out of my interest in filmmaking and apart from that, I have a keen interest in playing guitar. I’ve been playing acoustic guitar for a long time now, and quite recently I started learning how to play an electric guitar. I find myself very interested in music as well, I’m a huge fan of The Weeknd, Harry Styles, Lana Del Rey, The Neighbourhood and The 1975. I’m also very fond of travelling and I often find myself documenting my journey whenever I do so. 

Having CAS as a core component has given me the opportunity to work upon myself and it has helped me gain more confidence and become more social. It helped me develop more skills and it has definitely encouraged me to give back to the community.
