Basketball is something I am new to, I use to play Netball earlier which is similar to basketball and that was the reason why I chose basketball as my PS. I was just getting familiar with it and learning it how to play and I got to know that I am in the khel mahakumbh team. Hearing that I was a bit scared as I wasn’t ready to play in a competition perhaps i had no other option so I prepared for it. As i was new to the game I was a substitute in the team still i got a chance to play.<\/p>\n

Learning outcomes achieved.<\/p>\n

LO1:\u00c2\u00a0Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth<\/p>\n

I use to play netball in Grade 9 and after that I dropped every sport which I use to play. I want to achieve a good fitness level again and so I started playing basketball. I knew that I am a sports person which is my strength, I just needed to improve my skills. For the same, I started learning the basics of basketball and started playing with other teammates.<\/p>\n

LO4:\u00c2\u00a0Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<\/p>\n

this learning outcome has been showcased as I worked in all my PS slots for it, showing commitment and perseverance.<\/p>\n

LO5:\u00c2\u00a0Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively<\/p>\n

Since it is a team sport, working collaboratively is must to win the game. The experienced players helped us to understand the strategy and the technique, and we all played really well.<\/p>\n

At last we won the tournament and it was a very happy moment.<\/p>\n
