Taekwondo is a martial art but nowadays it is also being played as a sport. It is something that I have been doing for the past 4-5 years. It is something that I love to do, I work upon my skills and fitness.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I demonstrated LO1, LO2, LO4, LO6<\/span><\/p>\n

LO1-Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth\u00c2\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

My strength was attacking which helped me to gain a lot of points but before the tournament the\u00c2\u00a0 problem that I faced was with my defense, I used to lose a lot of points. With the help of my coach I practised a lot on my defense which helped me perform better in the tournament\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

LO2-Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.<\/b><\/p>\n

Taekwondo helped me develop new skills as before starting taekwondo it was very hard for me to concentrate on academics or in different activities as I was easily distracted, but taekwondo helped me to develop my skill of concentration.<\/span><\/p>\n

LO4-Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<\/b><\/p>\n

I practice for 2 hours everyday except Sunday and I have been doing this for 5 years. IT is hard for me to manage time with studies as I am in 11th but for improving my skills it is necessary<\/span>.<\/b><\/p>\n

Also as I said before nowadays taekwondo is being played as sport, so as it is observed that people don’t care about their fitness and because of which people face a lot of diseases, for example obesity. Taekwondo helps me to be physically fit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Conclusion<\/b><\/p>\n

Taekwondo helped me to achieve learner profiles like being a risk taker, being balanced. This learner profiles will help me at any point of my life.<\/span><\/p>\n
